Although China accepted partially the neoliberal policy ideology after the Chinese economic reform, a new administrative reform model is initiated from understanding the market reform’s side effects. We expect that introducing such a Chinese model will be valuable not only to review Korea’s public problems related to public administration but also to investigate the desirable direction of administrative reforms in Korea.
The Research Hub Center for Public Administration and Policy tries to collect classified information on Chinese administrative reform with the cooperation of the two major universities in China, the Peking University and the Chinese Academy of Social Science, which have investigated the issue. The Research Hub Center for Public Administration and Policy has a plan to introduce key points on Chinese administrative reform to domestic scholars with a translation into Korean.
